Completion 2005

Owner:
Kitsap County
Administration

Architect:
Miller-Hull Partnership

Upon its scheduled completion in September 2005, the Kitsap County Administration Building will consolidate the county campus and create a civic hub for the area.

A great variety of recycled content materials are being used in the project including carpet, gypsum wall board, rubber flooring, concrete and acoustic ceiling tile. Job site recycling of construction debris and waste is also taking place.

When complete, the project will take full advantage of rainwater collection from the project's steep site. Cisterns will hold collected runoff for irrigation use in the dry season. In addition, storm water runoff will be reduced through the utilization of green roofs and generously landscaped areas.
